When asked about the easiest cooler to learn, the 'forearm cooler' is my recommendation. You can learn it in ten minutes!
The way to evaluate the deceptiveness of these kinds of blatant switches is to ask the question: What do players see if they only burn the cooler after the game-deck is slid back over the table's edge? What they see is the deck being cut with the left hand in the normal fashion. Why only evaluate the move from this point? Because it's likely that the first second or two of the move will be missed due to 'turns' on the game.
