Assuming you're right-handed, the notion of purposely adding a left-thumb lift to each deal was discussed in the second deal section. This clip addresses a question about lifting the left thumb during the bottom deal, which is demonstrated with a modified Erdnase bottom deal. This is a good example of how the tiniest nuance can change the look and feel of many bottom deals. Note that the deck stays relatively parallel with the table with minimal rocking of the deck-hand throughout the deal.
