Delaying the Hop

Most cardmen associate the classic hop with a single sweeping action of the right hand, but there are several variants not generally known to cardmen. Here's just one example that features a delay designed to put the observer's mind at ease for a split second as the cut is apparently carried before the classic hop is then done on the next beat with cover. With just a minor change in timing, the classic move changes significantly.
