One-handed Peek Muck

MUCKS, BREAK-OFFS, COOLERS & MORE - chapter 7, page 510

Recall the context for this move. The mucker casually tosses his two cards face down on the table behind his bet. The hand generally consists of a big card/small card combination with the small card on top. The mucker now retrieves a previously stolen big card from his pocket, under his leg, from his knee crotch, etc. When it's time for the move (after the dealer acts and the mucker knows that a switch will win), the mucker brings both hands to the table and apparently takes a second peek at his hand, switching the small card for another big card in the process. It's a soft, unrushed action.
