Off-the-table Strip-brief
BEATING THE CUT - chapter 4, page 339
PS's handling for this crimp-based brief is near perfect. The OTT strip is a common action to end a series of OTT riffles. The cover is excellent, and the end result is a normal OTT strip that lays a subtle crimp at the back end while the rest of the deck remains perfectly squared. When I think of perfectly constructed moves, this brief is on my list.
Note: PS was a single-o mechanic most of his career and this was his preferred method for beating the cut . . . in fact, it was the perfect move to accompany his extraordinary OTT riffle-stacking skill.
