Here's a little-known version of the scrape cut. Interestingly, the action is opposite to that of the scrape cut. The top half is scraped forward with the top of the deck facing the observers, versus the front side of the halves. During this action, the bottom half is lifted slightly and dropped to create the illusion of an undercut. The move is done as the deck is slid back toward the cutter . . . it's all about pace, rhythm, and guts.
