Here's my interpretation of a table riffle that starts with a partial slip-cut, and where one half is riffled under the top card to create the riffling sound; then the top card is stripped back to its original position followed by a base-strip. This single riffle/strip sequence may be a viable option if done on the offbeat prior to a stunt.
Sorry, I'm not sure who gets credit for this basic idea, but I believe it was a magic source.
