Sky Shuffle
SHUFFLES & CUTS - chapter 2, referenced on page 177 under cover-Zarrow
The 'sky-shuffle' is an infamous casino false shuffle. It was successfully applied in many scams. It's not taught in GSOH, but it's referenced. The shuffle's unique attribute is its capacity to false shuffle two or more decks and fool an overhead surveillance camera due to its difficulty reading perception of depth. When I stated that the move was routinely demonstrated during my consulting career, the notion of a deceptive full-deck false shuffle with two or more decks was so foreign to most readers that I was asked if the move was on tape anywhere or if I would demonstrate it. As you will see, it's all about rhythm and cover from the hands (the strip, of course, is a base-strip).
